I completed Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and am currently a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Praveen Kumar Vemula's laboratory at BRIC-inStem.
My research integrates organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, enzyme catalysis, and chemical biology to develop functional molecular systems for biomedical applications. I am particularly interested in translating molecular design into innovative diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. My current work focuses on developing infection-responsive hydrogels for medical applications.
In the long term, I aim to establish an independent research program that combines synthetic chemistry with mechanistic biological insights to develop next-generation materials and technologies for human health.
Outside the laboratory, I enjoy listening to music, playing and watching cricket.
