I am a microbiologist with a PhD in Biotechnology, trained in infectious disease research under the prestigious DST–INSPIRE Fellowship. I completed my doctoral studies at SASTRA Deemed University, where I investigated bacterial pathogenicity and anti-virulence strategies. This work earned me the Founder Chancellor's Thesis Award and provided extensive exposure to academic, industrial, and international research collaborations, shaping my translational outlook. I am a member of the India Biofilms Society, a national society for Biofilm researchers. 

I am currently a DBT–Research Associate in Prof. Praveen Vemula's laboratory at the Institute of Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), Bengaluru. My research integrates microbiology, materials science, and biotechnology to develop innovative, application-driven solutions for managing catheter-associated urinary tract infections.
