I have done integrated BSc-MSc Biotechnology from Central University of Kashmir.
I have been involved in a couple of research projects in the laboratory, with my primary focus on the development of a novel polymeric hydrogel system for the sustained delivery of subunit vaccines (foot and mouth disease) and nucleic acids. I have also worked on the design and evaluation of novel liposomes for efficient nucleic acid delivery in mammalian cells.
Currently, I am involved in two small projects:
Development of cost-effective ultra-low attachment plates for 3D cell culture applications.
Evaluation of the antibacterial and anti-biofilm activity of novel quaternary ammonium salts.
Outside the laboratory, I enjoy poetry writing and photography.
