I completed an Integrated M.Sc. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. I first joined Vemula lab in May 2023 for my Master’s dissertation, where I worked on understanding storage-induced aging of red blood cells (RBCs).

I rejoined the lab in 2025 as a Research Assistant and am currently working on two parallel projects. One focuses on evaluating antibacterial compounds against mastitis-associated pathogens and developing a polymicrobial in vitro model that closely mimics the infected udder environment. In parallel, I am developing a CRISPR-based knockout cell line to investigate mechanisms underlying epithelial barrier dysfunction diseases.

Beyond the lab, I enjoy photography, cycling, and long Sunday walks exploring the city.
